Maldon

The work comprised the staged demolition of an existing Car Retail development, followed by the archaeological investigation into what possible Anglo-Saxon artifacts remained from a settlement in the then Port town.

Areas of ground with high concentrations of hydrocarbon contaminants were remediated, with all hazardous wastes being removed from site allowing the main infrastructure and substructure works to get underway.

Being a site of archaeological interest that was also highly contaminated, there was a great deal of communication with the Local Authority relating to discharging all planning conditions placed on the site, on behalf of our Client Explore Living.
